Yogurt Given Credit For Better Heart Condition



The daily consumption of moderate amount of yogurt could help protect the heart from disease, says a report. The study suggests that yogurt prevents the blood vessels from thickening during old age. The thickening of the blood vessels can lead to heart attacks and stroke.The study was conducted on 1,080 women over the age of 70 years in Perth. These women were selected for a `Calcium Intake and Fracture Outcome Study'.
