Technology Changes the Life

As we all know, technology has been changing rapidly and instantly. We must adapt our lives to new technological tools which will make most of the things easy in our daily life and increase productivity and efficiency.
I would like to share my interview with one of my friends about how technology affects her daily life.

Last Saturday I interviewed with my friend about her use of new technologies for life. I asked her how technology had changed her life in general. She told me that changes in technology are going crazy. She is a graphic designer. For this reason, she told me that she has to keep up-to-date in order to adapt herself to new developments in technology. When I asked her what she preferred to communicate with her co-workers, she responded that she usually uses e-mail and Skype. I wondered if she could tell me what the advantages and disadvantages of using e-mail were. First, she explained the advantages of using e-mail at workplace. She told me that she sometimes needed to send the same information to many people. She said that e-mail provides sending the same information at the same time to many people to you. She added that she could have a record or proof that e-mail was sent. She also stated that she could have time to think about the context of the message that she wanted to e-mail. Second, she mentioned the disadvantages of using e-mail at workplace. She thinks that sometimes face to face communication is necessary because resolving an issue or discussing an important subject might not have been effective through e-mailing. She complained about getting hundreds of e-mails everyday, and she told me that she could not have time to read many of them. She emphasized that sending an e-mail saves time whereas reading e-mails consumes time. After she explained the advantages and disadvantages of using e-mail, I asked her why she needed to use Skype at workplace. She told me that she was able to see a person to whom she talked. She continued to explain the use of Skype by talking not to pay too much for phone bills. I really enjoyed talking to my friend about technological advancements that have affected our daily lives.
